Description

This tutorial is a great way to learn the unique technique of joining two braids as part of the braiding process. This has been an exceptionally popular technique in my workshops and this is the first time it is offered as a tutorial. The Hermione’s aunt bracelet is a cuff style of bracelet, with a very pretty open, lacey effect created by a combination of braiding and embellishment techniques.
A Prumihimo disk is essential for this tutorial because the instructions refer to the patented system of slots, dots and numbers. It is recommended that you learn and practise the basic braid structure on the Prumihimo disk before embarking on this design. Prumihimo disks are available in the shop on this website or you can contact me by email – pru@prumihimo.com
The instructions are very comprehensive and include tick charts to help you to keep track of the braiding sequences, as well as photographs and diagrams throughout. Trouble shooting advice will help you to navigate the unexpected.
A detailed list of materials is included. In addition you will need a Prumihimo disk, 50g weight, beading needle and thread, strong glue.
