Description
The original Prumihimo Disk was developed by Pru McRae to enable braiders to master a fabulous braid, which is perfect for the precise positioning of beads in straight lines along the braid. The braid is a traditional Japanese braid, which Pru has adapted for use on her innovative disk. A unique combination of slots and dots makes it easy to learn this versatile braid, while the shape, size and extra-large central hole of the disk are perfect for beaded braids.
The extra-thick version of this disk is 2cm thick and has been developed for EITHER frequent users of the Prumihimo disk who require a more durable version OR braiders who wish to explore finer cords and smaller-holed beads. (It is not recommended for use with cords of more than 1mm diameter.) This 2-disk package is a great purchase because you can use one disk for regular Prumihimo braiding and save the other one for very fine braiding. Just remember to mark the disks so you do not get them mixed up!
