This is the front page of my latest tutorial for Digital Beading. It is called Nautical Knots. The brief was to make something summery, so I went for a nautical theme and got the chance to use these adorable sea charms. Writing tutorials for a fully digital magazine is interesting because they do not have to work to the same restraints that apply to printed magazines. For the designers it means that we do not have to work to rigid word counts and number of steps. It allows for a much freer, fuller style of writing and is more similar to the way I write tutorials for this website. While this issue of the magazine is current I am not allowed to sell the tutorial, but after two months I can do so. I am now working on a necklace to go with the bracelet, because I like to really pack my tutorials with content.
